Charity pottery painting event raising funds for local hospital
11 MAY 2026

York & Scarborough Hospitals Charity is inviting the local community to get creative and come together at a special pottery painting event this June.
Taking place on Thursday 11 June at Rainbow Ceramics in York, the event will raise funds for the Tiny Lives Appeal, supporting the Neonatal Unit at York Hospital. Money raised will help make a real difference to local babies and their families during their time on the unit.
For just £20 per person, attendees will receive all the materials needed to design and decorate their own side plate. There will also be fun opportunities with raffles and extras on the day. The event is 18+ and bring your own bottle, making it a great opportunity for friends or colleagues to enjoy a relaxed, creative evening together.
Becky White, Community Fundraiser at York & Scarborough Hospitals Charity, said ‘Whether you're an experienced artist or just looking to try something new, this is the perfect chance to get creative while helping to raise funds for your local hospital.”
