Breast Cancer Awareness Month: Making every mile count
Join our 100 Miles in October Challenge and complete 100 miles in 31 days while raising money to support Breast Care at York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
That’s just 3.2 miles a day through October, and you can complete your miles in a way that suits you. Whether you prefer walking, running, cycling or swimming, every mile you complete and every pound you raise will help support people affected by breast cancer in our local community.
Want to challenge yourself even further? Set your own distance goal and choose a target that feels challenging for you.
What’s included?
- Your own online fundraising page
- A fundraising pack full of tips and ideas
- A free charity T-shirt when you raise your first £10
Every £15 you raise could fund a mastectomy bra to support patients following surgery.
Every £76 you raise could fund a wig for patients who have lost their hair as a result of cancer treatment.
Together, we can make a real difference for people affected by breast cancer across our community.
Sign up today and make every mile count this October.
