Yorkshire Peak challenge raises over £5,500

Twenty-three supporters laced up their walking boots to take on a Yorkshire Peaks Challenge, raising an incredible £5,553.74 for York & Scarborough Hospitals Charity.
Participants could choose from two routes, with eighteen taking on the full Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge and a further five completing the family-friendly Ingleborough Hike.
The money raised will support a variety of wards, departments and services across York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, helping to fund projects and equipment that enhance patient care and staff wellbeing beyond what NHS funding alone can provide.
This year, York & Scarborough Hospitals Charity joined forces with other NHS charities from across the region to create a memorable day in the Yorkshire Dales. With good weather and stunning views, participants embraced the challenge while enjoying the atmosphere of being part of a wider community supporting the NHS.

The funds raised will support improvements to patient care, hospital environments and staff wellbeing projects across the Trust, making a lasting difference to local healthcare services.
