York & Scarborough Hospitals Charity is incredibly grateful to have been supported by the local Haxby Flying Ducks Youth Theatre, fundraising through their performances of The Addams Family back in February. An impressive £672 was raised in support of the Tiny Lives Appeal at York Hospital, benefiting the refurbishment of the Neonatal Unit.

This year marks a significant milestone for both York & Scarborough Hospitals Charity and the Flying Ducks Youth Theatre, as they both celebrate their 30th anniversary. To mark this milestone, the theatre group is preparing to present a series of celebratory shows featuring songs and dance numbers that will showcase both current young performers and former members. The anniversary shows will take place at the Joseph Rowntree Theatre on 27 June at 1pm and 5pm, and on 28 June at 1pm.

York & Scarborough Hospitals Charity is inviting members of the community to get involved by organising their own fundraising events to celebrate 30 years of making a difference.

Becky White, Community Fundraiser at York & Scarborough Hospitals Charity, said:
“We are incredibly grateful to the Flying Ducks Youth Theatre for their generous support. The money raised will make a real difference to local babies and families cared for through the Neonatal Unit at York Hospital.”
