Record-breaking auction raises £6,774 for the Tiny Lives Appeal
York & Scarborough Hospitals Charity has successfully concluded its biggest online auction to date, raising an incredible £6,774. The money raised will go towards the Tiny Lives Appeal, supporting improvements to the Neonatal Unit at York Hospital.
The charity wishes to thank local businesses, suppliers, and supporters for their generosity in donating prizes and bidding on items. Prizes ranged from a luxury holiday to Mallorca for six people to spa breaks, sporting events, and fine dining. There was something for everyone.
Fundraising Manager, Emma Sargent, said “The support for this year's auction has been incredible, and we are so grateful to everyone who took part. It is fantastic to see our community come together to raise such a wonderful amount for the Tiny Lives Appeal.”
