Overbury contractors raise over £3,000 for York Hospital’s Children’s Ward

Staff from Overbury, the construction fit out company currently delivering the new Vascular Imaging Unit (VIU) at York Hospital, have raised an outstanding £3,088 for York & Scarborough Hospitals Charity after completing a sponsored 60-mile walk around York’s historic city walls.
Motivated by a desire to give back to the hospital and its patients, the Overbury team came together outside of their day jobs to take on the challenge, clocking up the miles in support of the Children’s Ward at York Hospital. The funds raised will go towards enhancements for the Children’s Ward, including toys, games, and other comforting extras that help make hospital stays a little easier for young patients and their families.

"The commitment shown by the Overbury team has been amazing. Their fundraising efforts will directly support children on the ward and bring smiles to many young faces. Their donation will help provide items that go above and beyond the NHS, improving the hospital experience for patients of all ages. We’re so grateful for their support."
